Painted floors

The pattern is painted on site, by brush, to the measurements of the room and the light it actually gets. Parquet, plank or concrete.

Furniture and detail

One-off furniture and restoration of older pieces. Painted fronts, panels and set-design elements.

Art

Alongside commissions there is independent work, made without a client or a room in mind. The same pigment and the same geometry, with more freedom.

T-shirts made to order

One T-shirt, one design, one person. I draw the motif by hand and it goes onto cotton as a print. There will never be a second one.

  1. Conversation

    A call or an email: who it is for, the occasion, and what should be on it.

  2. Sketch

    I draw the design and show it to you before printing. Changes are part of the work.

  3. Print

    A single piece, in the colour and size you choose.

The studio

Creative Unicorn is run by Monika Marszałek-Kowalewska. Since 2019 the studio has combined fine art, design and one-off furniture.

Colour is mixed on site, matched to the wood and to the light the room really gets. That is why no two floors come out the same.
